Abacus dx: Building for the Future

Abacus dx faced several challenges that affected its business performance during our 8-year-long partnership. One of them being when they were moving into a brand new building, which required careful planning and execution of a new wireless design and state-of-the-art collaboration rooms.

Their server infrastructure was aged and in need of modernisation, causing slow and inefficient operations. Communication within the business was also a challenge due to the siloed telephony platforms in use, which made collaboration difficult and time-consuming.

Finally, their MPLS data network was out of date, resulting in slow data transfer and limited bandwidth. These challenges were causing significant inefficiencies and frustrations for the business, and they needed a comprehensive solution to modernise and streamline their operations.

Entag has successfully implemented a wide range of transformation projects to help businesses modernise and streamline Abacus dx’s operations. We provided full network transformations using high-bandwidth Entag managed SD-WAN networks to improve uptime and connectivity.
We have also helped Abacus dx consolidate its communication systems by migrating from multiple PBX/phone systems to Telstra Calling for Office 365 using Microsoft Teams. Our consultation engagement services have resulted in improved collaboration and communication through the redesign of their Microsoft environments. In addition, our expertise in planning wireless design and state-of-the-art collaboration rooms has resulted in optimised workspace for the team.
We also successfully shifted server infrastructures to the cloud through Microsoft Azure. Finally, our managed services offer comprehensive support for UC, mobility, cloud, network, and end-users, providing end-to-end support for all of Abacus dx’s needs.
