The challenge

In 2022, our business, Aesseal Australia, faced significant challenges with our existing network infrastructure. We approached Entag for a comprehensive national network redesign to support our future business growth and ensure seamless operations across all locations. Our existing network design, which utilised Connect IP with WAN and TIPT, was becoming increasingly inadequate. The slow links at various locations across the country were causing frequent disruptions and inefficiencies, hindering our ability to operate smoothly and meet the growing demands of our business.

The primary issues we encountered included:

• Network Performance: The existing network was plagued by slow and unreliable connections, leading to frequent downtime and reduced productivity.

Our solution

Entag delivered a comprehensive solution that addressed all our organisational needs. The new network design featured high-bandwidth Telstra Fibre and NBN Enterprise Ethernet (EE) links, ensuring fast and reliable connectivity across all locations. This was coupled with Cisco Meraki WAN and LAN infrastructure, which provided a robust and scalable network foundation.

A key component of the solution was the migration from our existing TIPT system to TOTI, which streamlined our telecommunication processes and improved overall efficiency.

To enhance the security and management of our LAN, Meraki Switches and Access Points were deployed. These devices offered end-to-end visibility and control over network traffic, a feature that was previously lacking. This upgrade significantly improved our ability to monitor and manage our network, enhancing both security and performance.

The success of this solution has been evident, as we have since expanded our infrastructure in other areas of the business, leveraging the robust and scalable network provided by Entag.
